With the addition of these three cities, JetBlue now offers direct flights between Boston and 30 destinations across the United States, Aruba, the Bahamas, Bermuda, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico (see a complete list below).
According to a press release, Chicago and New Orleans were two of the most-requested destinations. Edward C. Freni, Massport's director of aviation, said in the release, "New Orleans is the largest domestic market without daily nonstop service from Logan and it is very good news for New England that JetBlue will connect the Big Easy with Beantown."
JetBlue Airways began flying out of Boston's Logan International Airport in 2004. Though the fares have increased somewhat over the years, JetBlue remains popular with those looking for a reasonably priced ticket, and has won fans for its comfortable seating, free TV, and unlimited snacks and beverages (they really mean unlimited—just ask).
